1) Association: The Lucky Duck Lotto Jackpot Raffle (the “Raffle”) shall be conducted by the Parkland Bingo Association (the “Association”) pursuant to a Raffle licence (the “AGLC Raffle Licence”) from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (“AGLC”) and in accordance with the Criminal Code of Canada, Alberta Gaming and Liquor Act and Regulations, AGLC Policy, AGLC Raffle Terms and Conditions, and the terms of the Raffle Services Agreement between the Association and Tap 50:50 (the “Service Provider”).
2) Date and Location of Draw: The draw will take place by random number generation (“RNG”) online during the dates listed in the AGLC Raffle Licence starting July 1, 2026 (the “The Lucky Duck Lotto Jackpot Raffle Event(s)”). All draws will take place at the Association’s venue, Spruce Grove Bingo Hall located at 160 St Matthews Ave, Spruce Grove, AB.
3) Rules: These are the official Raffle Rules and are available upon request.
4) Eligibility: The Raffle is open to all persons who are located in the Province of Alberta when purchasing tickets online. Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older. Employees of the Service Provider, the Association, including its Board of Directors, and members of their immediate family (defined as mother, father, brother, sister, son, daughter, husband or wife, who reside in the same household) are NOT eligible to participate (defined as purchase tickets or receive prizes) in the Lucky Duck Lotto Jackpot Raffle. In addition, employees and board members of the beneficiary and volunteers who are helping sell Tickets in Venue during that Raffle Event will NOT be eligible to participate in the Raffle for that Raffle Event. Each ticket sold shall be eligible to participate in each draw conducted under the authority of the AGLC Raffle License.
5) Minor Children: Adult ticket purchasers are not to give their ticket to a person under the age of 18 years. If it is determined prior to the draw that a ticket has been issued to a person under the age of 18 years, the ticket is deemed void and the purchaser refunded. If a person under the age of 18 years does win a Prize, then the purchaser will be refunded and the ticket is deemed void and a re-draw will be conducted.
6) No Transfer of Tickets: Ticket Purchasers may not transfer their tickets to anyone else prior to claiming the prize.
7) Tickets: Ticket pricing shall be: Discount 1: $5 for 5 raffle ticket numbers, Discount 2 Ticket: $10 for 20 raffle ticket numbers, Discount 3 Ticket: $20 for 50 raffle ticket numbers, there are 2,299,995 raffle ticket numbers available on the AGLC Raffle License.
8) No Refunds. All ticket sales are final. There will be no refunds issued to anyone for any reason. All tickets purchased and for which the raffle ticket numbers on those respective tickets are entered into the draw cannot be refunded, including if a ticket purchaser made an error in selecting the number of tickets they desire to purchase.
9) How to Purchase Online: Visit LuckyDuckLotto.ca during the Raffle Event and follow the directions to purchase and print the tickets for the Raffle:
(a) The initial landing page www.LuckyDuckLotto.ca is where the rules and cause of the Raffle are explained. The button that says “Buy Now” will take ticket purchasers to the purchase portal section of the page.
(b) In the purchase portal section, ticket purchasers:
(i) Select product(s) for purchase
(ii) Confirm location and eligibility to purchase; agree to the raffle terms and conditions
(iii) Enter contact & billing information (Customer has the option to use express checkout)
(iv) Enter credit card information & confirm purchase
(c) If the transaction is approved, the ticket purchaser will receive a confirmation message with order ID on the web page. An email confirmation will be sent to the customer with order ID, product description and payment information. A secondary email (shipping confirmation) will be sent to the purchaser including all of the information in the confirmation e-mail along with the raffle ticket(s) containing their raffle ticket number(s). It can take several hours for the ticket purchaser to receive their e-mail shipping confirmation. Ticket purchasers are required to enter their e-mail address correctly with no errors when purchasing to ensure they receive their ticket(s) and should check their spam and junk mail folders if they have not received their ticket(s) by 9 AM MST the day after the Raffle Event.
(d) If the ticket purchaser has not received their ticket(s) by 9 AM MST the day following the Raffle Event, they can request that tickets be resent by going to www.LuckyDuckLotto.ca and selecting contact us before Noon MST the day following the Raffle Event to request that their ticket(s) be resent. They must include in the message the original email the tickets were purchased with as that is the email the tickets will be resent to. Ticket(s) will be resent between Noon and 3 PM MST the day following the Raffle Event. Any messages sent after Noon MST the day following the Raffle Event to request that their ticket(s) be resent will not be processed. Ticket Purchasers purchasing Raffle tickets online must fully complete their purchase using the procedures specified above. All online purchases are subject to and will be treated in a manner consistent with the website terms of use and privacy policy.
10) How to Purchase in Venue: Tickets may also be purchased at the Spruce Grove Bingo Hall, inside in person starting at 10:45 AM Saturday and Sunday afternoon Raffle Events and 4:45 PM MST Sunday to Saturday evenings, on Raffle Event Days from Raffle Sellers at the Venue. Ticket purchaser must include their name and phone number when purchasing tickets in Venue. All sales will stop in Venue at 2:45 PM MST for Saturday and Sunday afternoon Raffle Event Days, and at 8:45 PM MST every evening on the week that Raffle Events take place.
11) The Draw will take place between 3:00 PM MST and 3:30 PM MST for Saturday and Sunday afternoon Raffle Event Days and between 9:00 PM MST and 9:30 PM MST every evening on the week that Raffle Events take place. The draw shall take place at the Spruce Grove Bingo Hall, 160 St Matthews Ave, Spruce Grove, Alberta and will be open to the public. The winning raffle ticket number will be selected via RNG.
If the System experiences any technical difficulties during an event or in the event virus, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, power failure or other causes corrupt administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper operation of the Raffle (or any portion thereof), the Association reserves the right in its sole discretion to: (i) cancel the Raffle; or (ii) suspend the Raffle until the problem can be remedied, whereupon it will resume. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, in the event of a cancellation or suspension, the Association reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to elect to identify a winner and award the prize by way of random drawing from among all non-suspect, eligible entries received up to the time of such cancellation or suspension.
12) Winner Notification: The winning raffle ticket number will be posted on the Association website at www.LuckyDuckLotto.ca shortly after the draw. In the case of a discrepancy between the posted raffle ticket number and the actual raffle ticket number selected through RNG, the actual raffle ticket number selected through RNG will be considered to be the valid winning raffle ticket number. The holder of the ticket containing the winning raffle ticket number for the Raffle will have until 90 days from the time of the announcement of the winning raffle ticket number for the Raffle to present the ticket containing the winning raffle ticket number to the Association.
The holder of the ticket containing the winning Progressive Jackpot raffle ticket number for the Jackpot will also have 90 days from the time of the announcement of the winning Jackpot raffle ticket number for the Raffle to present the ticket containing the winning raffle ticket number to the Association. If the winner has not come forward within 7 days from the time of the announcement of the winning jackpot raffle ticket number for the Raffle, the Association will use the email and/or phone number if provided by the ticket purchaser to try to contact them.
Ticket purchasers may not transfer their tickets to anyone else prior to claiming the prize. The holder of the ticket containing the winning raffle ticket number may claim their prize by contacting the Raffle office by emailing sgbmanager@telus.net and forwarding their purchase e-mail and a copy of their government issued photo identification and address or present their purchased ticket to the Association. The name on the government issued photo identification must match the name that was used to purchase the ticket. In the event that more than 1 customer’s name is written on the ticket, the Prize will be awarded to the first name of the individuals named on the ticket, and the Association, the Service Provider and AGLC are not responsible for any disputes among the individuals whose names are on the ticket. Each prize claimant must provide the Association with all information required by provincial gaming regulations to claim a prize. All prizes will be awarded to the winners within 14 days of the winner delivering the ticket containing the winning raffle ticket number and all other required documents to the Association. All Prizes not claimed on or before the Prize Claim Expiry Date, 90 days from the time of the announcement of the winning raffle ticket number for the Raffle), will be added to the pooling transfer for the current month at the discretion of the Association, with AGLC approval. This means that any unclaimed Raffle event Prize or Jackpot Prize, will be redistributed by adding the amount to the pool contribution for the current calendar month.
13) The Prize: In each Raffle the Prize will be 25% of the gross revenue received from all tickets sold on each Raffle Event. Prize is not transferable and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions, except at Association’s sole discretion. The Prize shall be paid by cheque or cash from the Association, at Association’s sole discretion. The designated winning raffle ticket number contained on the ticket purchaser’s raffle ticket is validation for claiming the Prize.
14) The Progressive Jackpot Prize: At the beginning of each calendar month the Jackpot Raffle with start at $0. In each raffle event in one calendar month 25% of the gross revenue will be added to the Jackpot raffle. On the last day of every month an additional raffle draw will be conducted, after all event draws have been completed for the month. All ticket numbers purchased for all raffle events in the month will be eligible. The Prize shall be the accumulated 25% gross sales from all of the raffle events for 1 calendar month.
Unauthorized persons copying, selling or altering tickets are subject to prosecution. A Raffle ticket will be void and a Prize not paid/redeemed if there is proof that the ticket was stolen, not issued, ineligible, altered, counterfeit, defective, printed in duplicate, or printed/produced in error. The Service Provider and the Association are not responsible for lost or stolen tickets or tickets redeemed in error by their agents. All tickets, transactions and winners associated with the Raffle are subject to the rules, regulations and procedures put in place by the Association and the lawful charges thereof.
15) Cancellation: The Association may rescind, cancel, amend or revoke the Raffle, subject to the prior approval of AGLC. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Association reserves the right to cancel or modify the Raffle and/or these Official Rules, in whole or in part and without notice, if the Association determines that fraud or technical or other failures have threatened or destroyed the integrity of the Raffle.
16) Online ticket sales may only occur during a scheduled raffle event when a charity is present at the location of 160 St Matthews Ave, Spruce Grove, Alberta during the hours of 4:45 pm to 8:45 pm Sunday to Saturday and 10:45 am to 2:45 pm Saturday and Sunday afternoons when a raffle event is scheduled.
