Lucky Duck Lotto Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The Lucky Duck Lotto Raffle is your chance to WIN while supporting important charitable initiatives in our community.

1.      How much do tickets cost?

Five dollars ($5.00) for five (5) ticket numbers

Ten dollars ($10.00) for twenty (20) ticket numbers

Twenty dollars ($20.00) for fifty (50) ticket numbers

2.      Who can purchase?

You must be physically located in Alberta at the time of purchase and be at least 18 years of age to participate.

3.      How can you ensure that someone is in Alberta while purchasing?

The online platform uses geo-location technology to verify that purchasers are physically located within Alberta at the time of purchase.

4.      What time will tickets be available?

Tickets will be available for purchase beginning at 4:45 PM MT and will close at 8:45 PM MST Sunday to Saturday evenings.

Tickets will be available for purchase beginning at 10:45 AM MT and will close at 2:45 PM MST Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

5.      Where do I purchase?

Tickets can be purchased online at www.LuckyDuckLotto.ca or in person at 160 St Matthews Ave, Spruce Grove, Alberta

6.      How do I find the winning ticket number?

The winning ticket number will be posted on the Lucky Duck Lotto website  www.LuckyDuckLotto.ca shortly after the draw.

7.      How do I pay for my tickets?

Online purchases can be made using debit and credit cards at www.LuckyDuckLotto.ca

In person purchases can made with cash, debit and credit cards.

8.      How do I receive my tickets?

You will receive an email confirmation after your payment has been processed. A second email containing your official raffle ticket number(s) will then be sent to the email address provided during checkout. Please ensure your email address is entered correctly.

9.      When will I receive my ticket? If your transaction is approved, you will receive a confirmation message with your order ID on the website.

You will then receive:

• An email confirmation containing your order details and payment information.

• A second email containing your raffle ticket number(s). Please check your junk and spam folders before contacting support. If you have not received your ticket(s) by 9:00 AM MT the next day you may email sgbmanager@telus.net

Emails must be received by 12:00 PM MT the next day or requests will not be processed.

Requests must:

• Be sent from the same email address used for the purchase.

• Be received before 12:00 PM MT. Tickets will be resent between 12:00 PM MT and 3:00 PM MT. Please note that even if you have not received your ticket email before the draw, your ticket numbers are entered into the draw immediately after purchase and remain eligible to win.

10.  Am I able to get a refund?

No. All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued for any reason, including purchases made in error or purchases of an incorrect ticket package.

11.  What happens if I win?

If you are not present to claim your prize at 160 St Matthews Avenue, Spruce Grove, Alberta at the time the winning ticket is drawn then email sgbmanager@telus.net and provide:

• A copy of your ticket or purchase confirmation

• Government-issued photo identification

• Any additional documentation required by provincial gaming regulations

The name on your identification must match the name used when purchasing the ticket. You will also be required to complete and sign a Winner's Release form.

If the winner has not come forward within seven (7) days of the announcement, Lucky Duck Lotto may attempt to contact the winner using the email address and/or phone number provided at the time of purchase.

12.  Can I gift my ticket?

No. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. The prize will only be awarded to the individual whose name was used to purchase the ticket.

13.  Where do the sales for Lucky Duck Lotto tickets go?

The winning ticket holder of each raffle event receives 25% of all ticket sales.

25% of all ticket sales goes towards the monthly Jackpot that is drawn following the last raffle event draw of the month.

The remaining proceeds pay for any Lucky Duck Lotto expenses and support 23 local charities in Alberta, helping fund programs and projects that make a meaningful impact throughout our community.
